The Rosholt School District strongly believes that Social Studies provides a coordinated, systematic study of information, skills, and concepts from the disciplines of the social sciences.  Attention is given to connections among the peoples and nations of the world, critical thinking skill sets - such as Thinking Like a Historian, and conscientious decision-making as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world.  This study will be accomplished through the application of research, critical thinking skills, and problem solving strategies; the result will be a civic minded lifelong learner.
